Payment—EasyPeasy Living accepts payment in the form of cash, checks, Venmo and Zelle. All fees are due at the time service is rendered. There is a $35 charge on all returned checks.
Refunds—Refunds will not be issued on services rendered or gift certificate purchases. Gift certificate balances are good for up to five years from the date of purchase.
Cancellations—We request a minimum of 24 hours notice for all non-emergency cancellations. A $50 cancellation fee will be assessed for missed appointments or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice.
Missed/Late Appointments—EasyPeasy Living will wait at the residence for 15 minutes following the scheduled start time. If the client does not appear within that time frame, the appointment is considered a missed appointment and subject to a penalty (see above). Appointments that start late due to client tardiness or unavailability will be billed according to the scheduled start time and will still end at the scheduled end time.
Phone/Email Confirmations—Unless otherwise agreed upon, the client will NOT receive a phone or email reminder prior to scheduled appointments. Missed appointments are subject to billing as outlined in the Missed/Late Appointment Policy above.
Service Area—EasyPeasy Living provides in-person service in Montgomery County, MD only.
Privacy & Photographs—EasyPeasy Living does not sell client contact information to third parties. We may request permission to photograph the work space/s for internal reference and project documentation purposes. These photos also may be used in the "Before and After Gallery" section of the company's website and in other company marketing materials but will never be associated publicly with the client’s image, name or address.
Handyman Services—EasyPeasy Living does not provide “handyman” services, such as installing or mounting furniture or fixtures. We will not drill, nail or add new holes to walls or furniture. At our discretion, simple assembly of stand-alone organizing systems or fixtures may be included as part of a standard organizing session and are thus subject to standard session time constraints and charges.
Removal Services—EasyPeasy Living often advises clients on various options for donating, selling or recycling unwanted items as appropriate. While we may offer to transport small unwanted items to a local charity or post them for give-away on your behalf on our local Buy Nothing group as a complimentary service, this is technically outside the scope of regular services and is offered solely at our discretion. We do not sell items on behalf of clients.
Organizing Materials—EasyPeasy Living often advises clients on the purchase of specific organizing or packing products, tools, materials or furnishings that may be helpful in organizing a client's space. Shopping services to procure such items may be provided upon request and solely at our discretion. Such services are billed at a separate hourly rate and require prepayment for the cost of goods to be purchased. Please contact us for current shopping rates.
