Payment—EasyPeasy Living accepts payment in the form of cash, checks, Venmo, Zelle and PayPal. Payment is due on the same day service is rendered unless an alternative payment schedule has been arranged in advance. Outstanding balances more than ten days past due will incur an additional $15 late fee. There is a $35 charge on all returned checks.
Refunds—Refunds are not issued on services rendered or on gift certificate purchases. Gift certificate balances are good for up to five years from the date of purchase.
Minimum Charge—There is a three-hour minimum for all organizing sessions. If the client chooses to shorten their session for any reason, they will still be charged for the full three-hour session. Sessions that extend beyond three hours by 30 minutes or more will be charged at the current rate for each additional half-hour increment.
Cancellations—We require a minimum of 24 hours notice for all cancellations. A $60 cancellation fee will be assessed for non-emergency cancellations with less than 24 hours notice. Repeated infractions will result in a warning, after which the client may be charged for the entire canceled session.
Missed/Late Appointments—Appointments are considered canceled if the client has not engaged with the organizer within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time and are thus subject to cancellation fees as outlined above. Appointments delayed due to client tardiness/unavailability will be billed according to the scheduled start time and will still end at the scheduled end time.
Service Area—EasyPeasy Living provides in-person service in Montgomery County, MD only.
Privacy & Photographs—Client contact information will never be shared with a third party, except with the client’s permission and as required when requesting a receipt from a nonprofit for donations dropped off on the client’s behalf.
Before and after photos of the space/s organized may be used in EasyPeasy Living’s marketing materials, website or online profiles but will never be publicly associated with the client’s image, name or address
Handyman Services—“Handyman” services, such as installing or mounting furniture, fixtures, or wall decor are outside the scope of services provided by EasyPeasy Living. We will not drill, nail or add new holes to walls or furniture.
Removal Services—At no additional charge, EasyPeasy Living will transport to one of the following destinations, per visit, any non-hazardous items able to be lifted by one person and fit in the trunk of the organizer’s vehicle:
Organizing Materials—EasyPeasy Living often advises clients on the purchase of specific organizing products, tools, materials or furnishings that may be helpful in organizing a client's space. Shopping services to procure such items are offered solely at our discretion and are not included in the session fee. Such services are billed at a separate hourly rate and require prepayment for the cost of goods to be purchased. Please contact us for current shopping rates.
